"Pabebe" is from the word Pa Baby. Some netizens say it's synonymous to "sobrang pacute," "maarte", "feeling maganda'", "feeling cute" feeling baby," "sarap iuntog sa pader", "sarap sampalin sa mukha," among many other statements that expresses annoyance to a person.
The word "Pabebe" became viral because of the video created by Mary Jaydeeryn Elias. On her FB account, Mary posted she's is a model, dancer, freelance model and talent at Abs-Cbn,who's residing Dasmarinas Cavite .
Mary Jane uploaded a video on her social media account, being alone and sad in a big mall in Cavite. She demonstrated the differences on how to eat mamon between the rich, the poor and herself. She talks and moves very slow with "pacute" facial expression.
The video became viral on May 2015. Since then, she was called the Pabebe Girl a.k.a Neneng Mamon.
Meanwhile, another video from the two girls who called them also "pabebe girls" which creating noise on Facebook, Unlike Mary Jane, these two girls are not "pasweet". They look like a kontrabida in teleserye.
