Pope Francis of the Roman Catholic Church confirmed his visit to the Philippines this coming January 2015.
The confirmation of the Pope on his visit to the country was made while speaking Italian as he told reporters in Vatican. He mentioned the trip will be next January a trip of two days to Sri Lanka and in the Philippines and in the zone that was hit by the tsunami (Typhoon Yolanda). So, it means the 77-year-old Pope Francis will go to Tacloban, Leyte.
Aside from this news, the organizers of this event is thinking let the Pope ride in our very own jeepney. This transpo vehicle will serve as his service while he is in the country. Is that cool?!
The first non-European Pope, his excellency Pope Francis will visit the country on January 15-19, 2015. Mark you calendar now!
All arrangements for Pope Francis visit in the country will still be finalized until November 2014.
