Bb. Pilipinas 2017 announced the 40 official candidates on Tuesday, February 28,2017.

The 40 candidates were chosen by Miss International Kylie Verzosa and Binibining Pilipinas queens Maxine Medina and Nicole Cordoves, who're among the judges of the pageant.

ASAP recently launched the new girl group called ASAP BFF5. The group consists of Ylona Garcia, Loisa Andalio, Maris Racal, Kira Balinger and Andrea Brillantes.

The ASAP BFF5 appeared on Sunday's noon time show multiple times. They already performed their own rendition of hit songs like Meghan Trainor’s ‘Me Too’, Jessie J’s ‘Masterpiece’ and Justin Timberlake’s ‘Can’t Stop The Feeling’.
